Former Church Stretton School Students Meet Familiar Faces

22nd October 2010

Former Church Stretton School students, Rachael Baldwin, Rachael Baskeyfield and Sam Morgan returned to their old school to meet familiar faces in Year 11 - to talk about the new stage of their lives at Hereford Sixth Form College.

They were asked questions on a range of subjects - from why they chose Hereford, to what the college day is like and how best to use their free periods. The first question, however, was about the daily travel. Rachael Baskeyfield, who is doing five AS subjects, responded that the train only takes 40 minutes and while you can do a lot of work in your study periods, you can do some extra work while you commute - especially if you get a table seat!

Sam told his former school mates about his involvement in the choir, while Rachael Baldwin answered questions about her career options and what is needed to get into Medicine.

To find out more, the Year 11 students were invited to our Open Evening on November 11th and as our students explained: it's an excellent way to get even more of a sense of what our College has to offer.
