Former Student Leads on Design of "Hugely Optimistic Car"

A former student is making a name for himself in the world of automotive design.
 
After leaving Hereford Sixth Form College, Matt Weaver went on to study at Hereford College of Art, followed by a Degree and MA in Automotive Design at Coventry University.
 
Matt now works with Nissan Design Europe and, having been responsible for the Nissan Qashqai, he is now the Project Lead Designer for the new Nissan Qazana - Nissan's "show car" which will be the star of the Nissan stand when it is on display at the Geneva Motor Show taking place on 4th-14th March 2010.
 
What's more, the Nissan Micra is going out of production and will be replaced by the Qazana keeping many much needed jobs in the North East of England.
