Masterclass held by International Concert Pianist, Bobby Chen

On Sunday November 16th, the international concert pianist Bobby Chen came to College to pass on his experience to a small group of talented young piano players from around the county. This included four players from Hereford Sixth Form College:
Robyn Barratt playing Bürgmuller’s Chevaleresque, Tom Nichol playing Brahms’ Intermezzo 118 No.2, Emily Lunn playing Mozart Sonata in F and Heather Wong who began the masterclass with Richard Rodney Bennett’s Four Calling Birds.
All the students found the session very valuable and the audience enjoyed the students playing just as much as Bobby Chen’s insightful and encouraging comments
