Stuff for Students - Attendance Reaches Record High
22nd September 2008
The Stuff for Students event organised by Hereford College of Arts, Herefordshire College of Technology and Hereford Sixth Form College was another resounding success!
Over 2,000 students from the three colleges attended this bustling event with 45+ exhibitor stands from the local community and beyond. Health, personal safety, well-being and personal development were at the heart of the event.
The freebies, activities and information were a massive draw for students but it was also a fantastic networking opportunity; students and tutors made some great connections for the future and exhibitors gave a wonderful response:
"Very good, not a single negative." Concern Universal
"Very good - lively students!! Great networking opportunity. Well organised. Good mix of stands." Herefordshire Centre for Independent Living
"It was great to come again. I see the benefits to my organisation and the students. Will be back next year." Outdoor Education Team, Herefordshire Council
"Excellent, even more students than before." Herefordshire Fairtrade
"Great." Subway
This year's event was sponsored by Impact Print & Design Ltd and The Courtyard, Herefordshire's Centre for the Arts with many organisations donating some fabulous prizes.
