Theatre Studies News

14th March 2008

During the last month AS and A2 Theatre Studies students have been giving College audiences the chance to see their practical exam work in action.

A2 students performed a wide variety of different extracts from plays - including Sarah Kane's powerful and disturbing 4.48 Psychosis, as well as new interpretations of Alice in Wonderland, Attempts on her Life and Macbeth.

Over 60 AS students performed two evenings of their own devised work - with this year's work also including dance, song, music and highly technical lighting. Over 150 family and friends attended the performances in the PAC and they were wowed by the variety of skills and theatrical styles on offer. We wish all students the very best in the upcoming practical exams.
