Student Philosophy Workshop

23rd May 2007

Professor Roger Kite, lately Professor of Philosophy at the University of Central England, is visiting the College on Tuesday 19th June to hold a Philosophy Workshop. This Workshop will be held between 1.05pm and 2.00pm

This Workshop will provide a philosophy taster for students currently studying Theology, Critical Thinking, Sociology, Psychology, Politics and Law, and other related subjects.

Professor Kite comes well recommended by John Pratt, Director of Studies, who heard a lecture given recently by Professor Kite at Weobley Philosophical Society.

Supporting John Pratt in warmly recommending the Workshop to students, Isabelle Célié-Bone said, “The Workshop will provide an excellent taster to get to grips with the essentials of philosophy for students who are following disciplines allied to philosophy. For those of our students who will be applying to Oxbridge – and especially those intending to read SPS or PPE there – this Workshop is a ‘must’ and should not be missed.”
